Resolve authorizing the Land Agent of the State jointly with the Land Agent of the State of Massachusetts to sell certain undivided lands belonging to said States, was read & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve - in favor of the town of Abbot, was read a second time & indefinitely postponed. Sent up for concurrence.

Report of the committee on Banks & Banking, to whom was referred an order of the House passed 23d Jany requiring a return of the names of all debtors to Banks, their sureties &c also an order of the House passed the 5th inst. respecting "Agencies of Insurance Companies incorporated without the State - also the report of the Commissioners appointed by the Governor & Council to examine Banks - that further legislation on those subjects is unnecessary, was read & accepted. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - defining the duties & powers of Justices of the Peace respecting Actions of Replevin, reported in a new draft which was adopted, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence

Bill - an additional act providing for the Government of the State Prison & for the punishment of Convicts , was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 o clock assigned for a 3d reading

Bill - to change the names of certain persons, reported in a new draft which was adopted, read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
