order of this Legislature to prepare & report a Bill providing for the regulation & government of the State Prison with such a code of Bylaws in relation to the same as to them may appear fit & proper ; ordered further that the Secretary of State be directed to transmit to each of the above named gentlemen copies of the several Bills & papers reported to the present Legislature relative to the State Prison - and the House concurred.
Resolve providing for the preservation of the State House and property belonging to the State & for other purposes, was read & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
Resolve fixing the compensation of certain officers, was read twice & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
