Resolve respecting forms of Returns of votes for Senators was read 1st & 2d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve making appropriation for expenses of the State Arsenal, was read 1st & 2d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

The Committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Bill – an additional Resolve, providing for the promulgation & distribution of the Laws, Resolves & Judicial Reports of the State - enabling the owners of Meeting Houses to manage the same. - in addition to an Act respecting Engine Men, Fire Engines and the extinguishment of fire. which were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence

The same committee reported as duly engrossed Resolve - authorizing a loan of money - - authorizing the Land Agent to aid the town of Ellsworth in making a road through the States land in that town. which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill – an additional act to promote the sale & settlement of Public Land, was read once & on motion referred to Messrs Cobb of Durham, Chase of Livermore & Weymouth of Berwick.

Ordered that the Senate be requested to send to this House the Resolve in favor of Josiah Towle. – read & passed.

Bill – to incorporate the Great Works Manufacturing Company was read a 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a third reading.

Bill – to regulate the Alewive fishery in Bristol, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
