The committee to whom was referred the Resolve in favor of the town of Brunswick, reported a reference to the next Legislature – and the House accepted the report.

Resolve in favor of Josiah Towle, was called up, and the vote passing the same, so far reconsidered as to adopt an amendment at A as on sheet annexed & then the Resolve was passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill – to incorporate the President, Directors & Company of the York County Bank, came from the Senate amended for concurrence – and the House passed the Bill to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill - to establish a Registry of Deeds at Topsham, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed with amendments. Sent up for concurrence

Mr Potter of Bowdoin, has leave of absence after tomorrow.

Mr Chase of Livermore has leave of absence after Saturday next.

The committee on engrossed bills reported as duly engrossed Bill – to establish the Kennebec & Androscoggin Canal Association, which was passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

The same committee reported as duly engrossed Resolve – making appropriation for expenses of the State Arsenal - relating to the Kennebec Road - which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill – imposing a duty on sales of Lottery Tickets, laid on the table by Mr Longfellow of Portland, was referred to the committee on the Judiciary. Sent up for concurrence.
