[Committee on the expediency of a law respectg gaolers] Order of the House that Messrs McIntosh Hutchinson and Roland be a Committee with such as the Senate may join, to take into consideration the expediency of passing a law requiring the several Jail Keepers or their Deputies to reside constantly within the House provided for that purpose in the several Counties within this State, came up for concurrence, was read and concurred, and Messrs Witham & Miller were joined.

[Convention] All 11 Oclock the two Houses met in convention for the purpose of qualifying John Balkan Esq. a Counsellor elect for the current year, when he came in, took and subscribed the oaths required by the Constitution in presence of the Convention The two Houses, the separated.
