Bill additional to an act regulating judicial process & proceedings, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

On motion of Mr. Smith of Newfield, Ordered, That Messrs.Smith of Newfield, Knowlton of Montville & Dodge of Portland be a committee to inquire whether there are any public defaulters to the State, and if there are, whether it is expedient to commence prosecutions for the security of such defaulcation [?] with leave to report &c - read & passed.
