On motion of Mr White of Monmouth,

    Ordered That the House hold a session this afternoon commencing at half past two oclock and that the Clerk be requested to notify the Senate thereof - read & passed.

Bill in addition to an act to establish the Cumberland & Oxford Canal Corporation came from the Senate, that body concurring in the amendments of the House made on the 26th of February last excepting the amendment on slip marked A and nonconcurred the House in that amendment - and the question of receding therefrom & concurring with the Senate was put to the House but before the question was taken, the House.
