Saturday March 6 1830 Met according to adjournment. Mr. Searle of Norridgewock has leave of absence after this day.

Bill in addition to the several acts for the preservation of Fish in Penobscot River and Bay and the several streams that empty into the same, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Reports of the petitions of David Oakes Ebenezer Hawkes 3d granting leave to withdraw, were severally read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill additional to an act giving remedies in Equity, was read a third time, and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Report on the account of John G. Dean referring the same to the Governor & Council, was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Report on the petition of Benjamin Fiske & als, came down referred to the committee who made the same for concurrence & the House concurred.

Bill to change the name of West Machias, was read 1st & 2d time & Monday next at 11 o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill additional to an act defining the powers and duties regulating the office of Sheriffs & Constables, came from the Senate amended at G for concurrence and the House so far recede from their former votes as to concur with the Senate in passing
