219 Bill - An additional Act respecting the Militia, and Circuit Courts Martial, came from the Senate, that body adhering to their former votes passing this Bill to be engrossed agreeably to the recommendations of their Conferees - The house indefinitely postpone this Resolve. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the President, Directors & Company of the Commercial bank - and also the "Resolve in favor of the town of Saco & Biddeford' came from the Senate, that body declining a Conference on the same. - read & sent up.

Bill Additional Act respecting Sheriffs, laid on the table by Mr Smith of Nobleboro, was read once and on motion by the same, referred to the next Legislature. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve in favor of Abijah Usher Junior, John Bodwell, Nathaniel D Appleton & Obadiah Hill, was read once & referred to Messrs Bourne of Kennebunk, Scamman of Pittston & Swett of Prospect.

Resolve in favor of Thomas O. Bradley was read 1st & 2nd time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

On motion of Mr Kent of Bangor, the following preamble & order was passed by the House viz.

  " Whereas this House, after adhering to their votes passing a Resolve in favor of Saco & Biddeford free Bridges to be engrossed and also after adhering to their vote by which they passed an act to incorporate the President, Directors & Company of the Commercial bank to be enacted, appointing Conferees on their part to meet such conferees as might be appointed on the part of the Senate on the above subject of difference between the two Houses, and requested the Senate to concur with the House in the appointment of conferees - and
