[Order respecting appropriations for Field pieces] Order of the House of Representatives that the Committee on Militia &c be instructed to inquire into the expediency of making an appropriation for supplying the Thomaston & Warren Artillery company with two additional field Pieces provided the Governor and Council shall deem it expedient to divide said Company and [Order respecting Coroners bonds] that the committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of altering or amending the Law respecting the bonds of coroners with leave to report by bill or otherwise were severally read and passed in concurrence.

[Bill for the inspection of sole leather] Mr. Holbrook from the Committee on Manufactures on order of February 12th reported Bill providing for the inspection of sole Leather and the same was read once and tomorrow 10 oclock assigned for a second reading.

[Bill passed to be engrossed] Bill to incorporate the Somerset Mutual Fire Insurance Company was read a second time and passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent down for concurrence.

[Bills & Resolves passed to be enacted] Mr. Page from the Committee on Engrossed Bills reported the following to be truly copied viz Bill to incorporate the Cherryfield Academy and the same was passed to be enacted

and also

Resolve additional for providing public buildings for the use of the state &c Resolve in favor of Joel MIller and the same were finally passed.

And this bill and these Resolves were presented to the Gov - for his approbation and signature.
