[1824] [Reports on Petitions] Mr. Dunlap from the committee on petitions of Philip Eastman and als. and of the Trustees of Foxcroft Academy, reported that they have leave to withdraw their petitions: Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence: concurred.-

Mr. Wilkins from the committee on petitions of Samuel F. Brown and als. and of J. A. Wadleigh and als. reported that they have leave to withdraw their petitions; Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence: concurred.-

Mr. Dunlap from the committee, on an order directing them to enquire into the expediency of appropriating a portion of the public lands to the support of Schools, in towns which have not had such appropriations &c. reported that the subject be referred to the next Legislature: Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence: concurred.-
