62. Report on the petition of Reuben H Green & al and accompanying papers, taken from the last years files of the Senate, came from the Senate referred to the committee on Banks & Banking for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Bill to alter the times of holding the Court of Sessions in the County of Cumberland, was read a 1st & 2nd time and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3rd reading.

Bill to incorporate the Trustees of the Maine Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, was read once and referred to Messrs Cobb of Durham, Smart of Prospect & Fogg of Elliot.

A message was received from the Senate by Mr Hutchinson their Secretary - proposing a convention of both Houses this day at 11 o'clock in the Representatives Chamber for the purpose of coming to the choice of a Treasurer of State - and the House concurred & the Clerk was requested to acquaint the Senate therewith.

Resolve providing for the survey & establishment of the line between Maine & New Hampshire, was read once and tomorrow at 10' oclock assigned for a second reading.

Ordered that Friday next at 11 oclock in the forenoon be the time assigned for a choice, by this House, of a Major General of the First Division of the Militia of this State - read and passed.

Ordered that the committee on the Judiciary be instructed to consider the expediency of providing by law for the trial of the validity of any conveyance of property by any defendant to the person summoned as his Trustee, whenever the Plaintiff in such action, shall impeach the conveyance disclosed by such trustee on the ground of Fraud. Read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.
