[order prescribing time & manner of electing U.S. Senators] Mr. Kingsbury from the Joint Select Committee appointed by order of January 10th reported an order prescribing the time place and manner of electing United States Senators. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

[Order for one session a day & c] On motion by Mr. Cushman, Ordered that the Senate have but one session a day and that the times to which the Senate will adjourn daily be ten o'clock in the morning except Saturdays, when the adjournment shall be to the Monday following at eleven o'clock in the forenoon until otherwise ordered.
