And in the District of Washington the whole number of votes is Seventeen hundred and twenty seven: necessary to constitute an election Eight hundred and sixty four: Charles Peavey has Eight hundred and forty one votes, and Obadiah Hill has Eight hundred and forty eight votes: and said Peavey and Hill are the two highest Candidates among the Persons voted for and not elected, and they are the Constitutional Candidates from whom said deficiency ought to be supplied.
