[Bill repealing part of the Acts establishing duties &c] of an Act establishing the duties to be paid by certain officers therein named and the same was read once and tomorrow 10 oClock assigned for a second reading.

[Bill & Resolve passed to be engrossed] Bill making provision for organizing corporations and Resolve in favor of James Irish were severally read a second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

On motion by Mr. Usher, Ordered that when the Senate adjourn they adjourn to meet again this afternoon at 3 oClock.

[Resolve in favor of J.B. Prince] Resolve in favor of Joseph B. Prince came up amended for concurrence and the Senate concurred.

[Bill additional incorporating props Kennebunk Pier] Bill extending the provisions of an Act incorporating the Proprietors of the Kennebunk Pier came up indefinitely postponed for concurrence and the Senate concurred.

[Committee discharged &c] Mr. Parsons from the Committee on State Lands requested to be discharged from the further consideration of the Governor's message of the 9th instant, relative to the purchase of Islands in the Penobscot River. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
