the appointment of a standing committee to view and lay out roads & vesting that power in the Courts of Sessions for each County came from the Senate in a new draft for concurrence. - The House receded from their former votes so far as to adopt the new draft of the Senate and after amending the same as on sheet annexed marked H passed the same to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill concerning Sheriffs, came from the Senate amended as in a new draft for concurrence - The House adopted the new draft and passed the same to be engrossed as amended. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - additional Act for the relief of Poor Debtors, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed as amended on sheet annexed marked P. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to apportion and assess on the inhabitants on this State a tax of forty nine thousand nine hundred & eighty eight dollars was reported by the committee on Finance, read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a 3d reading.
