The Committee appointed to wait on the Governor & inform him that the Legislature are ready to receive any communication he may be pleased to make report that the Governor was pleased to say that he would communicate with them by message forthwith

An order was moved by Mr. Sweat of Prospect that the Secretary of State be directed to procure for the use of the House Two Hundred additional copies of the Constitution of the State of Maine which order being read & passed & sent up for concurrence - came from the Senate amended by striking out the words "House two Hundred" & inserting in their place the words "Legislature three Hundred" - & on motion a new Draft of the order was made directing the Secretary of State to procure for the use of the Legislature 300. copies of the Constitution of this State & of the United States to be bound into one book in leather, to be labelled on the outside thereof "Legislature of Maine" & to contain the last census of the several towns and plantations in this State. read, passed & the new Draft sent up for concurrence

An order came from the Senate for concurrence directing the Secretary of State to cause Seven Hundred Copies of the Governors message to be printed for the use of the Legislature which order on motion being amended by striking out the words "Seven Hundred" & inserting in place thereof the words "One thousand" was read passed & sent up for concurrence
