41 Friday January 11th 1828 On motion by M Kavanagh the petition of Clement Moody of Jona Moody and of Edward Marston were taken from the files and referred to the committee on parishes &c [pet of C. Moody " John Moody " Edward Marston]

On motion by Mr Hathaway the bill establishing the salaries of the Judge and Register of Probate of the County of Waldo was taken from the files and referred to Messrs Hathaway, Shaw and Cushman.

on motion by Mr. Megquier, Ordered that the committee on the judiciary be instructed to inquire what number of copies of Greenleaf's Reports it is expedient to purchase for the use of the State and to provide for a proper distribution of the same. Orders of the House of Representatives that the committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of extending the provisions of the second section of an Act passed February 12th 1827, entitled an additional act for securing to owners their property in logs, masts, spars and other timber in certain cases in the River Androscoggin in this State.
