[Bill - Old town Canal] Bill to establish the Old town Canal came up in a new draft passed to be engaged for concurrence and the Senate concurred.

[Bill - Lobster] Bill regulating the taking of Lobsters came up amended for concurrence and the Senate concurred.

[Bill - Town of Edmunds] Bill to incorporate the town of Edmonds was read once and tomorrow 10 O clock assigned for a second reading.

[Pet. Port Stage Com] Petition of Portland Stage Company was referred in concurrence to the Committee on Manufactures.

[Bill - Bowdoin Academy] Bill establishing Bowdoinham Academy came postponed indefinitely for concurrence and the Senate concurred, Mr. Herrick gave notice that on Wednesday next at 10 o clock in the forenoon move for a reconsideration of this vote and the Members of the Senate present were " seventeen

[Order - purchase Strickland's Reports] Order of the House of Representatives That the Committee on Turnpikes &c be requested to take into consideration the expediency of authorizing the Secretary of State to purchase ten copies of Strickland's Reports upon Canals &c for the use of such
