An order came from the Senate for concurrence, appointing Messrs Kingsbury & Page with such as the House may join a committee to report the time, place and manner to be prescribed by the Legislature of this State in making choice of two Senators from this State in the Congress of the United States - and the House concurred and Messrs Adams of Portland, Emerson of York, & Jewett of Bowdoinham were joined.

On motion of Mr Smith of Nobleboro' Ordered That when this House adjourns, it adjourns until Monday next at half past ten o clock A.M., and that after this day there be but one session commencing at nine o clock in the morning until otherwise ordered.

Petition of the Selectmen of Bremen to correct the amount of their State Tax. - of the Selectmen of Abbot for relief as to their taxes - were severally read and referred to the committee on Finance.

Petition of the Selectmen of Clinton on the subject of the fishery in the Sebasticook river - of the Selectmen of Alna for a Law requiring fishways to be opened on the Sheepscot River. of Saml Moore & als of Steuben on the subject of the fishery in said town - were severally read and referred to the committee on interior fisheries. Sent up for concurrence.
