The committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed. Resolve for the Purchase of Stationary - for the payment of contingent expenses - respecting the Managers of the Sullivan Bridge Lottery which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - establishing Circuit Courts Martial, came from the Senate amended for concurrence and the House concurred.

Resolve authorizing the Governor to commission William French to solemnize Marriages among the Indians of the Penobscot tribe came from the Senate passage refused - the House adhere to their vote passing the Resolve to be engrossed. Sent up.

Bill - an act additional to an act to organize, govern & discipline the Militia, came from the Senate in a new draft for concurrence and the House referred the same to Messrs Smith of Newfield Morrill of Chesterville & Alden of Brunswick

Bill - establishing the Salaries of the Judge & Register of Probate in Waldo County, came from the Senate that body refusing to accept the proposed conference of the House & referring the subject to the next Legislature for concurrence - and the House recede from their former votes so far as to concur with the Senate in their reference.

Resolve authorizing the Treasurer of this State to make a loan of money, laid on the table by the committee of Finance, was read twice passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - further prescribing the duties of Sheriffs - was read once & referred to the next Legislature and the Secretary of State ordered to cause the same together with the report of the joint committee to be published in the papers which publish the laws of the State. Sent up for concurrence.
