Report on the petition of Nathaniel Davis, granting leave to withdraw, came down, accepted in Senate for concurrence - and the House concurred.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence directing the Secretary of the Senate to cause to be printed three hundred copies of the Report of the Commissioners appointed to examine Banks for the use of the Legislature, and that the same be committed to the joint Standing Committee on Banks & Banking - and the House concurred.

Petition of the Proprietors of the Dameriscotta [Damariscotta] Canal taken from the last year files of the Senate & sent down by request of the House, was read & referred to the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & Canals. Sent up for concurrence.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence directing the Secretary of the Senate to cause to be printed under the direction of the Committee on the State Prison &c three hundred copies of the Documents in relation to the State Prison communicated to the Legislature the present session - also the same number of Copies of the Auditors Report of the Accounts of the State Prison from 1823 to 1826 inclusive together with any other papers in relation to that institution at the discretion of the Committee - and the House concurred.

The Report of Daniel Rose, former warden of the State Prison, together with sundry documents & vouchers came down referred in Senate to the Committee on the State Prison for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Petition of the Trustees of Waterville College for pecuniary aid - - of John Upton & als for a grant of land to aid in the establishment of an Academy at Cherryfield -
