Bill - additional to an act providing for the promotion of Education came down, the Senate adhere to their role postponing the same indefinitely - The House insist upon their vote passing the same to be engrossed.

Bill - additional to an act to establish a Court of Common Pleas came from the Senate amended for concurrence - The House refuse to adopt the amendments proposed & adhere to their vote passing the same to be engrossed.

Report on petition of Nathaniel Smith & als

granting leave to withdraw, was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Report of the committee on the 18th of February directing them to inquire as to the expediency of so amending the law relating to the assessment & collection of taxes that the real estate of resident proprietors may be sold by collectors within the towns & plantations for the payment of taxes legally assessed thereon requesting to be discharged from the further consideration thereof, was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.
