Resolves, entitled "Resolves respecting the North Eastern Boundary" were read a second time, and the question on passing said Resolves to be engrossed, being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays, was decided in the affirmative as follow, to wit; Yeas, Messrs Boutelle, Bridgeham, Dunlap, Eastman, Emerson, Gibson, Goodwin, Groton, Hunton, Hodgman, Ingalls, Keith, Lithgow, Megquire, Smith, Sweat, Talbot, Thompson, Thayer and Webb ---- 20 Nays None. Messrs. Burnham and Scammon were excused from voting on the question.

On motion of Mr Keith, ordered that Messrs Keith and Boutelle, with such as the House may join, be a committee to enquire into the expediency of erecting a monument over the remains of Enoch Lincoln, late Governour of the State of Maine. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred, and Messrs Lowell, Gilchrist, and Andrews of the House are joined.
