Order from the House of Representatives, instructing the committee on Literary Institutions, to enquire into the expediency of so amending the law, respecting school agents that in case of neglecting or refusing to set up schools, when required by their districts, to be liable to fine, read and passed, in concurrence.

On motion of Mr Boutelle, ordered, that Asa Redington Junr' who has been appointed to draft Bills and Resolves for this Legislature be authorized to procure a writing desk for the room by him occupied. Sent down for concurrence.

On motion of Mr Bridgham, Ordered, that Messrs Bridgham and Sweat, with such as the House may join, be a committee to enquire into the expediency of providing by a law for a general vaccination of the people of this State, read and passed. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred and Messrs
