Tuesday, January 11, 1831.

[Order for Petitions] Orders were received from the House of Representatives, requesting the following papers to be sent down from the files of the Senate. To wit: Petition of Thomas Smiley & others " of George Downes & others " for the incorporation of the town of Blanchard.

[Order, for two members to be joined to Comtte on Apportionment of Repsents.] Ordered, that Two members be added to the Joint Standing Committee on the apportionment of Representatives, and Messrs. Ingalls and Eastman were joined.

[Orders.] On motion of Mr. Steele, Ordered, that the petition of Ephraim Thompson and others be taken from the files of the Senate, and referred to the Joint Standing Committee on the Incorporation of Towns. Sent down for concurrence, came up concurred. On motion of Mr. Davee, Ordered, that the petition of William D. Williamson be taken from the files of the Senate, and referred to the Joint Standing Committee one [on] Literary Institutions. Sent down for Concurrence. Came up concurred. On motion of Mr. Harding, Ordered, that the petition of George Lermond and others, be taken from the files of the Senate, and referred to the Joint standing Committee on Incorporation of Towns. Sent down for concurrence. Came up Concurred. -
