Cram - on petition of Joshua Swett and others - on petition of sundry inhabitants of Portland and vicinity - on Memorial of Trustees of Fryeburg Academy - on petition of Towns of Hope, Cornville and Fayette granting severally leave to withdraw, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.

Report on an order relating to Commissioners out of the State - on an order relating to Registers of Deeds and County Treasurer - on an order relating to trustees of Academies that legislation on those subjects is inexpedient, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred. Report on an order relating to cost in criminal prosecution that legislation on that subject is inexpedient came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House nonconcur and recommit the same with instructions to report a Bill, sent up for concurrence.

The Committee on Engrossed Bills report as duly engrossed Bill for the preservation of Lewiston Bridge - to authorize the County Commissioners of the County of Penobscot to expend money for the repair of a road in Dutton, which were severally passed to be enacted, sent up.
