224 Resolve providing for the erection of a monument over the remains of Enoch Lincoln and the same was on motion referred to the next Legislature. Sent up for concurrence.

The same committee reported as duly engrossed Bill additional to regulate the inspection of Beef and Pork - additional respecting the Municipal Court - to incorporate the Manufactures and Traders Bank which were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up.

The same committee reported as duly engrossed Resolve in favor of Obadiah Hill - in favor of the town of Machias Port - in favor of the town of Etna, which were severally finally passed, sent up.

Report of the Select Committee of the House to whom were referred the Resolve of John G. Deane and a Resolve in favor of Edward Kavanagh, made a report reconsidering the passage of the same which was read and accepted - and the Resolves were finally passed.

Petition of Joseph Southwick relating to demand in the Land Office was read and referred to the Committee on State Lands - sent up for concurrence.

The House recede from their vote passing to be engrossed a Bill to incorporate the Exchange Bank, adopt the amendment proposed by the Senate and pass the same to be engrossed as thus amended in concurrence.

Resolve in favor of [?] R. Stinson, Peleg Bradford and Abner H. Wade was read once and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.
