The petition of William McLellan, in behalf of the Thomaston Bank, was read and referred to the committee on Banks and Banking, in concurrence.

Mr Keith, from the Select Committee to which was referred a Resolve providing for the promulgation of the laws of the State, reported that said resolve ought not to pass, and a passage was accordingly refused to said Resolve.

Bill to incorporate the Bangor Mutual Fire Insurance Company. Bill to incorporate the Exchange Bank, Resolve ratifying and confirming certain doings of Leonard Mr. Parker, were severally read a second time and passed to be engrossed
