consideration of motion was made by Mr Thayer, that when the Senate adjourn, it adjourn to meet again at half past two o'clock this afternoon, which motion prevailed, and the Senate accordingly.

Resolve in favour of Daniel Lindsey and six others, reported by the committee on State Lands, was read once and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

The Senate resumed the consideration of the Bill addition to an act to incorporate the Kennebec Boom Corporation, and the question of passing said Bill to be engrossed as amended being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays was decided in the affirmative, as follows to wit Yeas Messrs Burnham, Davee, Dunlap, Eastman, Goodwin, Groton, Hunton, Ingalls, Keith, Megquier, Merrill, Scammon, Sweat, Talbot, Thayer, and Webb ----- 16 Nays Messrs. Bridgham, Emerson, Gibson, Lithgow, Merrill, and Smith ---- 6. Sent down for concurrence.

Resolve in favour of the town of Liberty, as taken into a new draft came up from the House recommitted to the committee on State roads for concurrence, and the Senate concurred.
