Bill regulating the survey of lumber in the county of Penobscot was read a second time and passed to be engrossed, as amended. Sent down for concurrence.

The Senate reconsider their vote passing to be engrossed Bill to incorporate the Sugar Island Side Boom Corporation, and assign tomorrow at ten o'clock for the further consideration of the same.

Bill to incorporate the town of Burlington, reported by the committee on the incorporation of towns, was read a first and second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

Bill respecting School agents came up from the House indefinitely postponed. The Senate recede from their vote passing said Bill to be engrossed, and concur the House in the indefinite postponement of the same.

Bill additional to an act for the regulation of Innholders, Retailers, and Common Victuallers, laid on the table by Mr Talbot, was read once, and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading, and the same was committed to Messrs Talbot, Smith, and Merrill.

Resolve in favour of Daniel J. Perley, reported by the committee on Claims, was read a first and second time and indefinitely postponed. Sent down for concurrence.
