Resolve in favor of the Passamaquody Indians came from the Senate passed to be engrossed as amended on sheet annexed marked B - and the House reconsidered their former vote on this subject and passed the same to be engrossed as amended in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve - in aid of Anson Academy was read a first time and Friday next at ten o'clock was assigned for a second reading of the same

Bill - regulating the salary of the Register of Probate in and for the County of Waldo was read first and second time and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a third reading.

Bill - additional establishing the salaries of certain officers - was read and indefinitely postponed - sent up for concurrence.

Petition - of Day and Frazer for allowance of their account as printers for the State without discount was read and referred to the Committee on Claims - sent up for concurrence.

The Committee on Engrossed Bills report as duly engrossed - Bill - establishing the the Brunswick and Topsham Athenaeum. to prevent the destruction of Pickerel in Pleasant Pond in Jefferson and Whitefield - which were severally passed to be enacted.

The same Committee also report as duly engrossed - Resolve - in favor of Joshua Carpenter - which was finally passed. -
