188 approval or rejection and that it be the duty of the Selectmen of the several towns and Assessors of the several Plantations in this State to insert an Article in the Warrant calling said Meeting to this effect, and to make return of the votes of said Town or Plantation to the next Legislature - and that the Secretary of State furnish the Selectmen of each Town and the Assessors of each Plantation with a copy of this Bill before said Meeting And the question upon thus referring, printing and submitting the Bill was taken by yeas and nays and decided in the affirmative - Yeas 158 Nays 17 sent up for concurrence.
