122 The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as truly engrossed Bill to incorporate the town of Milton which was passed to be enacted.

The same Committee reported as duly engrossed - Resolve for the repair of a Gun House in Belfast - which was finally passed - sent up for concurrence -

A Message was received from the Senate by their Secretary, proposing a Convention of the two Houses to meet forthwith in the Representatives Chamber forthwith for the purpose of administering the Oaths of Office to Amos Allen Councillor elect, requesting the concurrence of the House - and the House concurred, and the Clerk by message communicated the same -

Agreeably to assignment the two Houses met in convention where Amos Allen Councillor elect came in in and took and subscribed the oaths prescribed by the Constitution to qualify him to discharge the duties of the office of Councillor to which he was elected by the two Houses of the Legislature - And the Convention separated

The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed - Bill to incorporate the proprietors of the Eastport Academy which passed to be engrossed sent up for concurrence -

Hallowell Resolutions in relation to the Kennebec Boom - also Petition of Alden Blossom and others to be incorporated into a Boom and Sluice way Company came from the Senate, referred to the Committee on Turnpikes Bridges and Canals for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Petition of Joel Miller for an alteration in the law respecting the transporting of Prisoners from County Gaols to the State Prison came from the Senate referred to the Committee on the State Prison for concurrence - and the House concurred.
