of the day. nothing new has place to day. April 15th  in quarters all day. had a very bad headache. and sore throat. 

April 16th in quarters to day did not feel very well. it is very pleasant to day. felt very unwell in the evening. no news to day. April 17th the weather looks very pleasant and warm. it is the most butiful morning that I have seen in Virginia. There was a very heavy thunder shower abought 6 oclock in the evening which made the air feel cool and nice. one of our men got hurt to night. very bad by being throwed from his horse. he was coming off from Picket guard. it
