On motion of Mr. Williamson the order relative to the Resolve respecting the territory lying North and East of the Rivers St. Johns and St. Francis, yesterday laid on the table was taken up, the question being on receding from a former vote passing the same, and concurring with the House in its indefinite postponement, after discussion, the question being ordered to be taken by Yeas and Nays was decided in the affirmative, as follows, to wit; Yeas, Messrs. Bradbury Burnham, Cobb Cogswell, Emerson Gibson Howard Keith, Knowlton Pease Smith Talbot, Warren Webb Williamson 15. Nays, Messrs. Boutelle Drummond Hunton Hamlin Herrick McLellan Randall Read Scammon 9.

The Committee on engrossed Bills reported as correctly engrossed, Resolve respecting the Senators of the United States from the State of Maine; and the question on the final passage of the same being ordered to be taken by Yeas and Nays, was decided in the affirmative as follows, to wit; Yeas Messrs Bradbury Burnham Cobb, Cogswell Emerson Gibson Howard Keith Knowlton Pease Smith Talbot Webb, Williamson; 14.
