Petition of Bath Bank for extension of time to close its business was read and referred to the committee on Banks and Banking - sent up for concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the East Machias and Machias Port Bridge came from the Senate for concurrence, they having postponed the same indefinitely which was read and ordered to lie on the table.

Bill to organize, govern and discipline the Militia of this State was taken up (the question was upon passing the Bill to be engrossed) when the previous question was called for, the call being sustained, the question was then taken - "shall the main question be now put" - which was decided in the affirmative - the Bill then passed to be engrossed - & the question on passing the same was taken by yeas & nays and decided as follows Yeas 111, Nays 49. sent up for concurrence.
