231 same to the next Legislature but consent to the conference proposed by the Senate and appoint as conferees on their part Messrs. Shaw of Sanford, Doane of Orrington and McMillan of Fryeburg and the Clerk by message communicated the same.

Mr. McMillan of Fryeburg was excused from being one of the above committee of conference and Mr. Knowlton of Montville was appointed in his place and the clerk by message acquainted the Senate therewith.

Bill appropriating the income of certain Ministerial funds for the support of primary schools - additional to the several acts for the preservation of fish in Penobscot Bay and River and the several streams emptying into the same were severally read a first and second time and Monday next at eleven o'clock assigned for a third reading.

Bill to incorporate the Lubec Mining Company

- to incorporate the Lubec Manufacturing Company - for the preserving the Ticonic Bridge, were severally read a third time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence.

Resolve respecting the Massachusetts claims - in favor of John R. Stinson, Peleg Bradford and Abner H. Wade were severally read a second time and passed to be engrossed.

Bill in addition to an Act entitled An Act respecting Houses of Correction and for suppression and punishing of Rogues, Vagabonds, Common Beggars and other idle and disorderly persons was read a third time and indefinitely postponed. Sent up for concurrence. Ordered
