Bill to incorporate the Portland, Scarborough & Phipsburgh Mining Company, was read a second time and passed to be engrossed, in concurrence.
The Committee on Engrossed Bills, reported as correctly engrossed. Bill in addition to an act to exempt from taxation Manufacturing Companies of Cotton, Wool Iron and Steel for a limited time, and on motion of Mr Smith laid on the table.
The same Committee reported as correctly engrossed, Bill to incocporate the Frontier Bank, and the same was passed to be enacted.
