On motion of Mr. Smith of Westbrook, Ordered, that tomorrow at eleven o'clock in the forenoon be the time assigned for the choice of Major General for the second Division of the Militia of Maine on the part of this House.

Petition of J.A. Hill and others for a law to preserve Stillwater Bridge was read and referred to the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals - sent up for concurrence.
