On motion of Mr Williamson, the consideration of the Bill additional respecting the qualification of voters in town affairs was resumed.
Mr Webb proposed amending the amendment offered by Mr Williamson, by striking out the words "and every person shall be liable to be taxed within the town or plantation where he shall vote for town officers", and on motion of Mr Keith the bill was again laid on the table an one hundred copies together with the amendment ordered to be printed.
