Bill to provide for the instruction of Youth, " enabling the owners of Meeting houses to manage the same, " additional respecting the attachment of property on mesne process and directing the issuing, extending and serving executions, " to incorporate the Kenduskeag Canal Corporation, " to apportion and assess on the inhabitants of this State a tax of Fifty Thousand, Five Hundred, Ten Dollars, Eighty Eight Cents, " authorizing towns and plantations to raise money for the purpose of purchasing land for public Burying Grounds, " to repeal a part of the third section of an Act entitled an Act to establish a medical School in this State, and the same were severally passed to be enacted.
The same Committee reported as correctly engrossed, Resolve for the benefit of Common Schools and primary instruction, " to ascertain the number of the Blind in this State " for the relief of the indigent Blind, " providing for the compensation of the Chaplains of the Legislature, " in favor of Peleg Mitchell, " authorizing a settlement of the accounts of Daniel Rose, late Land Agent, " for printing and distributing the Militia Laws, " requiring the Academies and Seminaries of learning to make a return to the Secretary of State, the condition of their funds and for others purposes,
