� 25.00 INTERNAL SECURITY AND PUBLIC SAFETY

25.01 -- Adjutant General. [underlined] Created by Maine Constitution, Article VII, § 3.

Duties -- distribute orders from Commander-in-Chief of the State; at-tend all public reviews when the Commander-in-Chief shall review the Militia; obey all orders from him relative to carrying into ex-ecution and perfecting military discipline; furnish blank forms of returns that may be required; receive returns from officers of different corps of the Militia -- P.L. 1821, c. 564.
