Petitions of Scarboro to be paid for the support of a foreigner of George Pease and others for aid in making a road were severally read and referred to the Committee on Claims. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Benjamin Wyman and others of Fryburg to be incorporated for the purpose of erecting a Tomb and was read and referred to the Committee on Parishes. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Joshua Bean for pecuniary aid in putting into general use a newly invented threshing machine, came from the Senate referred to Messrs Chandler, Reed and Brown with such as the House may join - and the House joined Messrs Heagan of Prospect, Hubbard of Acton, Stuart of Scarborough, Goud of Whitefield, Sampson of Readfield Wasson of Brooksville, Vickery of Baring, Berry of Denmark, Hilton of Starks and David of Guildford.

Bill to incorporate the St Croix Company, was read 1st and 2nd time at 10 oclock assigned for a 3rd reading.

Leave to withdraw, was ordered in concurrence with the Senate on the petition of Noah E Chase and other of Thomas M Webber and others
