Petition of Assessors of Argyle, praying that the bounds of that Plantation may be established, read and referred to the Committee on the Incorporation of Towns, in concurrence.

Petition of James Thomas and others for a Bank at Bangor, read and referred to the Committee on Banks and Banking. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

On motion of Mr. Rogers, Ordered, that the Joint Standing Committee on the Judiciary, be instructed to enquire into the expediency of altering or abolishing an act, entitled "an Act to abolish Special Pleadings" passed March 1831. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

On motion of Mr. Cobb, ordered that the Joint Select Committee on the alteration of laws, regulating the education of Youth, be instructed to enquire into the expediency of passing a law requiring the inhabitants of school districts, when a part of their district shall be set off, by a vote of the town, to pay over to those persons so set off, their proportion of lands, building and money belonging to said district. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

On motion of Mr. Rogers, ordered that the Joint Standing Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of altering or repealing an act entitled "an act for the abolition of imprisonment of honest debtors for debt" passed March 1831. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
