Resolve in favor of George Brooks, reported in the House by the Committee on Military Pensions, on the petition of George Brooks, Bill to increase the Capital Stock of the President Directors, and Company of the York Bank, reported in the House by the Committee on Banks and Banking on the petition of the President, Directors and Company of the York Bank, Bill additional to an act for the prevention of damage by fire, and the safe keeping of Gunpowder; severally read once, and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Bill to incorporate the Associates of the Maine Wesleyan Journal, reported by Mr. Pierce from the Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions, on the petition of James B. Cahoon and others, Resolve authorizing an abatement on certain claims against Israel Curtis and others, reported by Mr. Kelsey from the Committee on State Lands, on the petition of Israel Curtis and others, severally read once and tomorrow at eleven o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Bill relative to the Inspection of Stone Lime and Lime Casks, came up from the House recommitted with instructions to inquire into the expediency of providing for the appointment of an Inspector General throughout the State The Senate reconsider their vote passing said Bill to be engrossed, and recommit the same in concurrence.
