Mr. Pierce from the Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions, to which was referred an order relative to a County School Committee, reported that legislation on that subject is inexpedient; read & accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Mr. Farnham, from the Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions, to which was referred an order, instructing said Committee to inquire into the expediency of amending an Act additional to promote the education of youth, passed March 4, 1833, made a report asking to be discharged from the further consideration of the subject, and that the same be referred to the Committee on the alteration of laws regulating the education of youth; read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
