Bill in addition to an Act to exempt from taxation, Manufacturing Companies of Cotton, Wool, Iron and Steel for limited times, (reported by the same Committee on the 17th inst, and ordered to lie on the table) passed to be enacted

Petition of inhabitants of the town of Brunswick, " of Samuel Sylvester and sundry inhabitants of Freeport, " of John A. Hyde and others, " of Daniel Booker and sundry inhabitants of Durham, for a new County, severally read and referred to the Committee that have that subject under consideration. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Petition of Jacob Hunt and others, praying for a law for the inspection of Hay, was read & referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Petition of John Dunning for aid, was read and referred to the Committee on Claims. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
