On Motion of Mr. Vose of Augusta Ordered that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to enquire into the expediency of passing a Law fixing the Fees of Notaries Public with leave to Report by Bill or otherwise Read and passed Sent up for concurrance [concurrence]

Report on Petition of True W. Dore - -of John Lovejoy granting leave to withdraw was read and accepted in concurrance [concurrence] with the Senate

Report on a Bill for the appointment of Justices of Trials that the same ought not to pass - was read and accepted and the Bill refused a passage in concurrance [concurrence] with the Senate Sent up

An Order came from the Senate for concurrance [concurrence] appointing Messrs. Bradbury Groton and Knowlton with such as the House may join a Committee to consider the expediency of so amending the first section third part of the fourth article of the Constitution which provides that the Legislature shall convene on the first Wednesday of January Annually that said Legislature shall convene on the second or third Wednesday in August annually and of passing a Resolve impowering and directing the Selectmen of the several towns and assessors of the several plantations to notify the Inhabitants thereof
