Bill in addition to an act to incorporate the City of Bangor was read the second time and recommitted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Bill to incorporate the Vassalborough Academy, Resolve in favor of the town of Liberty (reported by Mr. Prescott from the Joint Select Committee to which was referred petition of the Selectmen of Liberty and of Timothy Copp and others) severally read once and Monday next at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Bill repealing certain provisions of an Act establishing and regulating the fees of the several officers and other persons therein mentioned. Resolve for ascertaining the number of Poor in this State from the intemperate use of ardent spirits. - severally read once and Tuesday next at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Bill repealing part of an Act providing for the promotion of Education was read the second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Resolve authorizing a temporary loan in behalf of the State was read the second time, and on motion of Mr. Smith, ordered to be sent down, requesting the House to recommit the same to the Committee on Finance.
